Personality: (Justice is the only thing that motivated Kutosuki when he as younger and is the only thing that motivates his now.Kurotsuki has always viewed the world as unfair and unjust and has made it his goal to fix that.He is kind to the otherwise mistreated poor and thinks little of the high an mighty nobility that try to "teach" him how to run the Gotei 13.If he can help it,Kurotsuki avoids central 46 and ignores their warnings,advice and commands.He finds the thought of 46 men and women who live out their lives in a room and pass judgment and laws on others without setting foot in the outside world as preposterous.

Kurotsuki shows no compassion towards those take the lives of the innocent or takes advantage of the poor.He finds himself to be the most just shinigami in all of Soul Society(or they wouldn't have made him Sotaichou) and makes it his job to reform those around him.Kurotsuki thinks that hollows are mindless killing machines who prey on the innocent for no reason and finds makes it his job to wipe out this pitiful race and save the world.

Appearance::Emotions give away to many things about a person.So Kurotsuki has learned to mold his face into a dark-skinned mask of no emotion whenever he needs to. But the eyes can always give you away.So Kurotsuki wears a dark pair of shades(designer and stylish,of course) to hide his gun metal gray eyes. Kurotsuki's grim line of a mouth is surrounded by the stubble of hair that makes up his beard.The Taichou keeps his hair in the style of long dreads,finding them most enjoyable of all the styles.His hair is usually let loose and falls down to his shoulders.

Kurotsuki stand at a less than average 5'10.The somewhat short shinigami still commands respect with the sinewy muscles that cover his arms and legs and his abdomen muscles are sculpted into a definite 12-pack.Kurostsuki wears a sleeveless kimono foe his uniform to lessen the drag behind his speed,but he wears an oversized,large sleeved haori and he doesn't usually carry his zanpakutou with him.

When in battle,Kurotsuki changes his haori to a tight fitting one that better displays his speed.Kurotsuki's hair is tied back into a ponytail to keep it out of his eyes and his zanpakutou is carried in his left hand,ready to be drawn at any moment.His hands are covered with black gloves that reach up to his forearms and Kurotsuki sometimes shaves for big,important battles in the time of war.

History/Background: Kurotsuki was born in a quaint little shack on the outskirts of Rukongai,his family was too poor to afford a house within the districts.He was the first child of a former shinigami(the disgraced and "retired" 3rd seat of the 3rd Division),Kurotsuki Katsuo and a local barmaid,Kurotsuki Akemi.The first five years of Kurotsuki Rin's life were spent watching his parents struggle.In his fifth year,his mother gave birth to his little brother,Arata.It was Rin's job to take care of his little brother while his mother worked and his father got drunk.The brothers Kurotsuki grew up resenting their drunk of a father and the poverty of their family.And that family was still growing.When Rin was 12 and Arata 7,little Akiko was born.The tiny girl brought joy to the lives of her two brothers,who spent the brunt of their life protecting her.

When Rin was 18,Kurotsuki Katsuo,his father,died of alcohol poisoning(such an odd thing for a soul to die of) and Rin was left to help his mother take care of his two siblings.such a young soul shouldn't have to go through such unjust affairs,but that wasn't it.The Kurotsuki children lost their mother when Rin was only 20.Now,left with his 15 year old brother and 8 year old sister,Kurotsuki Rin was in charge of his small family.He spent years doing odd jobs for people in and around Rukongai to gather money t send his little sister to school.When his brother Arata was 18,he joined Rin in the job finding business.on slow days,the boys begged or money to care for their sister.

for years,life had treated the Kurotsuki family unfairly,three young souls left to fend for themselves.But one day,a blessing in disguise struck the family.We must start by saying that hunger is an odd thing in Soul Society,only those with increased Reishi have it,and all three kurotsuki children(being the offspring of a shinigami) had it.and one day,Akiko's 12th birthday,that hunger hit them fairly hard.The 24 year-old Rin was forced to steal a cake(the most fitting food for a birthday) to feed his siblings.When running away with the cake(which ain't that easy to steal) Kurotsuki was caught by a passing shinigami.He was given two options:go to jail(where he would surely die) or join the Shinigami Academy.Reluctantly,Rin joined the Academy.

Injustice had stricken the lives of the Kurotsuki siblings once more.The oldest was far away from the family and unable to provide for them on a daily basis.But he was determined to let his siblings live.Kurotsuki starved for days at lunch,taking his food to his siblings on the outskirts of Rukongai.They survived on the little portions of food until Kurotsuki Rin graduated from the academy and joined the 3rd Division,the very same one that his father "retired" from.And,I must say,shinigami don't forget.Kurotsuki Rin's name placed him in the unjust blame for his father's drunk and disorderly conduct which shamed the entire 3rd Division and Rin was persecuted for it as if he was his father.His time in the 3rd Division was filled with unfair treatment and badgering from the veterans,but Kurotsuki was determined to climb the ranks to care for his brother and sister,who his entire paycheck went to.But with every promotion,Kurotsuki was unfairly demoted by an unforgiving captain who was spiteful to all who bore the Kurotsuki name.

Finally fed up with it all,an 87 year-old kurotsuki Rin(yes,he put up with it since graduating the academy at 30) demanded to be switched to another division.But the spiteful captain was reluctant and refused to give up his whipping boy.But the constantly promoted and emoted Kurotsuki had caught the attention of a very important someone who was captivated by the shikai that Kurotsuki had uncovered years before,and was none other the Sotaichou of the Gotei 13.The Sotaichou chose Kurotsuki Rin to be his new 4th seat.Finally!Justice had shone down upon the Kurotsuki name as the story of his family was told to the kind Sotaichou who fired the unjust captain of the 3rd Division and paid for a small house for kurotsuki Rin and his siblings on the edge of Seireitei.For centuries,Kurotsuki Rin,now satisfied with his life,pursued his career with new vigor,bent on restoring the name of the Kurotsui family.He was promoted to the 3rd seat before long where he served for decades before getting the prestigious title of 1st Division Fukutaichou,where the brunt of those afore mentioned centuries.His goal was met when Kurotsuki was chosen to be the captain of the very division that scarred his early career,the 3rd Division.

Some how i missed the appearance part,lol.As for a sample,here we go:

The Captains' meeting room was something to behold.A large,four-walled,room made completely of the finest oak wood.The southern-most wall was occupied by the large sliding doors that resembled a Senkai gate an a long,tan carpet began at this entrance and ran along the floor til it came to rest at the foot of a slightly raised stage area that was only a few feet in length,stretching out to the final wall which was covered by a large tapestry that displayed the 1st Division's symbol and number.The eastern and western-most walls were covered with similar banners displaying each Division's symbol and number,starting with the second division on the east wall and the third on the west,alternating divisions all the way to the door,ending with the Kidou Corps' banner on the western-most wall.

The room was designed this way to make sure every captain kept stood across from another one,allowing each captain to look into the eyes of another.This separated rank,no one division was better than any other,after all.That was true except for the First Division.It's captain sat upon a large chair that was placed on the stage.Adorned with purple cushions and large armrests that curved downward,the chair resembled that of a king.Kurotsuki sat upon this chair,fully erect and arms crossed.He wasn't in the best of moods,but one couldn't tell.His anger filled eyes were concealed by his dark glasses and his mouth was comprised of the same grim line it always was.Kurotsuki lifted his hand to his chin and rubbed it a little,he could use a shave.That didn't matter now.His oversized haori was draped on the back of his chair,revealing the sleeveless uniform he wore, and his zanpakutou was dangling from the left arm of his chair.

The dark skinned commander simply moved his hand from his beard and pointed it toward the door and instantly,10 Hell Butterflies appeared and flew off,out the door toward their specific captains.The Gotei 13 was in desperate need of captains,but Kurotsuki would have to make due with ones he had.One thing was certain:they had better show up for his meeting or there would be more seats for he'd have to fill.
