Personality: kind and caring, kyohaku will give her life for another without hesitation. Not to say that she does not relish her life- to the contrary- she could not love life more! but she feels that others deserve life as mch as she does, why should she keep her life if she could do something to allow others to keep theirs. Bubbly and fun she enjoys being flirtatious and leading guys on to make them do things for her. Kyohaku values nothing more than someones word as she counts this as the only trustworthy thing left on this earth...if someone breaks their word then they are as good as going against their own spirit and she would rather die than do this. Quick whitted and sharp, this quincy has incredible reflexes, and speed but is however quashed by her blindness, making her unable to see completely- however hightening her reitsu sensory to super levels and increasing her other senses along with that

Background/History: kyohaku was born into a rich and priviledged family, but she was born blind. with her being the middle of three sisters she was always left out by the other two who were considered 'more gifted' failing at school (due to her lack of confidence) she felt pointless and a waste of energy from her parents that they could be spending on her precious sisters. But she had always felt different, always felt there was something special about her that the other sisters did not possess... and she couldn't have been more right.

One day when she had to wait behind in school to sign a form, her sisters went ahead of her, running to catch up with them so found them in a state of distress, running and flailing their arms and screaming about unseen ghosts attacking them...but the thing was, kyohaku could feel them!! And it was three overly powerful hollows. The sisters were screwed! two of them had no clue what was going on, and kyohaku herself could feel them but do nothing about them! What the hell were they? why were they attacking them? and then something very lucky happened, the lead hollow got cocky and decided to toy with kyohaku for he realised she could sense him. He came right up infront of her and tried to see if he could knock her out with just releasing his reitsu alone...well this was the wrong move, as, instead of knocking out or injuring the girl, it was exactly what she needed to sturr up her dormant quincy powers... a sudden burst of reitsu from inside her was too much for the hollow to handle and his head burst with the pressure... seeing this the remaining two hollows fled but before they could get two steps, they were both obliterated by arrows from kyohaku's new bow... she was now a quincy...and a powerful one at that...

After saving her sisters and realising her true potential she was sure that her parents would now accept her and give her the equal attention and love that she deserved... but she was wrong, revealing the truth to her parents was too much and they threw her out, ashamed of her as a freak and an alien

kyohaku was crushed and she fled the town and her old life for good that night. Wandering the streets of who knows what city, she was not welcomed by anyone, and, wandering down a back alley at 2 am she was approached by several drunken guys who wished to have their way with her... frightened and alone she ran from them, but they were fast...really fast! just as they were about to grab her arm she closed her eyes and pushed real hard, wishing that she could get away, and at this moment her spirit granted her the ability of god step and when she opened her eyes she found that she was now at a more than safe distance away, with her persuers looking purplexed and angry, they began the chase again but no matter how close they got kyohaku was able to god step within an instance to a safe distance away, they began calling her names and telling her that she was a freak, this sturred up old emotions and made kyohaku fill with rage, pushing this time and god stepping towards them time stood still and she found she was able to stand before them and walk all the way around them without them even able to move a hair folical, her will and determination had intertwined with her god step making her incredibly fast and incredibly skilled with god step. Lashing out with all she had kyohaku punched into the first man and time regained its normal course...however what she expected to happen did not happen, the man did not buckle or fall...he just stood there and laughed as the freak made constant hits into his stomach...somehow kyohaku's pyhsical strength had been morphed into speed. She was weaker than a person half her age! This was not good, unable to fight hand to hand she would have to run, but before she got a chance to do this her arm was grabbed by one of the men... fearing this was it, kyo closed her eyes and focused on somehing else, when she oppened her eyes again, she was standing infront of a pile of knocked out men and behind her were four unfamiliar people.

These 4 people took her in and made her a friend, they turned out to be misfits and runnaways with strange powers just like her (it was actually two quincy, a special human and a bounto) for the next ten years she grew up, lived with and TRAINED with these four friends. The quincy teaching her about her bow, about quincy spells with tubes, about sceele schilnder and about final forms, but also teaching her the history of the quincy, all about the other races and about hollows etc... she trained effortlessly and tirelessly everyday as she wanted to make something of herself and never again let her be the one dragging behind or the one people are least proud of. The other quincy were amazed by her natural speed and her mastery of the god step was almost unbelieveable, she was easily faster than any quincy the four had met before... and kyohaku knew this. She knew that speed was her biggest asset due to her shameful lack of strength. So training in speed and god steps, she got even faster and was able to do two god steps for every one of any regular quincies this being her special ability. Training with them to this day she found a real love for life, and an even stronger love for the life of her friends, willing to do anything! to keep them out of harms way and safe. now Fairly skilled with her bow, kyohaku has mastered her bows two abilities and unlocked her bows true form (a star) and has learned that its special ability lies in speed and light. unlocking two techniques for it kyohaku has for two years now had an unlocked bow with two techniques that she is constantly training to perfect and get stronger... she is yet however to find her final form, but when she does, she will be ready to use it with all of her power and speed and kill whoever forces it to be released,

Kyohaku currently lives in a house with her four friends somewhere near karakura town and she protects this area tirelessly from anyone/thing she considers a threat whilst also bringing in money from her fairly lucrative employment choice...

Kyohaku was born blind, but to compensate for her lack of sight her body boosted her reitsu sensory skills to super levels and increased all of her other senses along with it.

MERCENARY: kyohaku is self employed as a mercenary and is a quincy for hire, can be hired to fight alongside a member or even carry out assassinations. Kyohaku is contactable at any time and works for whomever will hire her however once she has been hired she simply refuses to be bought out/over by any other member, sticking closely to her word as someones word is the only thing she counts as trustworthy. She would rather end her life than break her word...

Kichigai stood there in that grand master bedroom with a tiny dagger in her left hand alone and with the most confused look on her face, as far as she knew this mission was meant to be a straight forward killing in their sleep job, The people who had hired her had given her only three things- an address, the mans door key to his bedroom and a large wad of notes and at the time that was all she had really cared about... Now she was stood before his bed with nothing but her confusion for company 'had he been tipped off' 'was this a set up' 'what if the floor plan was wrong' 'maybe somebody had beat her to killing him' all of these questions and a thousand more sped around kichigai's head as she stood there and considered what her next course of action was... Shit this was bad...

Kichigai was an orphan, she had lived on the streets and fended for herself ever since the age of 11.. she had natural birth parents still alive, but when they realised that not only was she blind but she also had strange powers unlike any of the other kids she was forgotten by them faster than a goldfish forgets the tiny suit of armor within its bowl. for the next 8 years she has lived and survived by hiring out her expert skills and ablities to whomever will pay her the most. She was a mercenary, a quincy assassin for hire and this was meant to be just another run of the mill job..but something was different this time

Kichigai could feel several reitsu's closing in, she knew that this must have been a set up, maybe deep down she always knew, but took the money anyway because there was no-one quincy, arrancar or shinigami who could oppose her...and she wanted to prove that. Putting away her assassination blade kichigai grabbed her long dagger and parry blade and glided over to behind the boor...flat up against the wall kichigai's breathing and heart rate had dropped to a near death like level and she could feel the wind like ability of her movements readying themselves to take life again... there were three of them, three reitsu's moving...no creeping towards the door, they felt like regular humans and kichigai swore she recognised one of the reitsu's as a member of the gang that had hired her... 'those bastards, what do they think they can achieve?' kichigai swore under her breath

With the rush of a stale ill-thought out plan the door to the bedroom burst open and three men sporting large, unnecessary swords spilled into the masters chamber screaming and howling a war cry... she had to admit, they put on quite the performance...but her favourite part was seeing the bewildered mix of confusion and horror on their faces as they found the bedroom to be bare...

*click* the switch for the bedroom lights was flicked and the three men were plunged into a horrifying and inescapeable darkness, With horrified shouts and voice waivering questions of "who turned the lights off" the men one by one began to dissapear.

*slice* *gurrgle.......* *crack* was all the third man heard before he could feel the two most mind chilling feelings he had ever felt...the first was the cold, thin steel of a blade resting on his neck...and the second was the warm, twisted feel of a puddle of his friends own blood seeping through his socks and swirling around his toes...

those were the last two things he ever felt...






Kichigai stepped from rooftile to rooftile, gliding effortlessly across the chimney topped roofscape of karakura town, the wind blew along side her, billowing after her as if her and the wind were one entity. She swept through a chimney's spurt of smoke and ash, usually she would have avoided chimneys as the smell of woodfires brought back unhappy memories of busking on toykyo's streets... but not tonight, tonight she was transfixed by one thing and one thing alone- rage.

The gyuichin clan doors burts open as thirty or more arrows spilled through its enterance like busy passangers barging onto a train...the arrows connected with gaurds and support beams left right and centre. ripping havock through the clan hideout, bringing down walls, making second floors meet first floors head on and costing many needless lives as a figure in the doorway eminated a steaming red glow of rage.

"hahahahaha...did you really think we werent expecting you kichigai" a dark, eeiry and booming voice sounded from somewhere within the rubble

"we knew those three half wits would fail to even lay a scratch on you...but we needed some way of making you angry enough to let your gaurd down and so i guess they served their PURPOSE" a tall beefy man sceamed as he shot from the dust and rubble behind kichigai, blade in hand

"it is useless..." kichigai stated coldly without even lifting her head

The man flew with intollerable speeds and a steady hand but it was all wasted before kichigai's unmatchable skills, the man stopped dead in his tracks with a blade through his stomach and another in his spine...his skewered body dropped lifelessly there and then as kichigai walked away somberly.


It seemed all clear, kichigai had wiped out the backstabbing clan who had tried to set her up, killed every member and burried the evidence under a pile of begotten rubble...everything seemed settled...but when the wind stops blowing and all the leaves in the orchard appear to be where they should be, you know there is something up...
