How to get a rank

1. Post here asking for the rank you want.

2. If your challenging for a higher rank you must post here and pm the person.

3. Privion ranks are only open for espada that hace been demoted or lost to a lower ranking member.
But if you really want the privion rank without becoming an espada, you must have a detailed history including how you lost your espada position in your character app.


4. You'll have to do one of two things. Fight the person who has the rank you want, if that position is open, then you'll spar with me or another Los Tres Reyes and they/we shall decide based upon your abilities.

Definitions:

Espada (, Esupada; Spanish for "Sword", Japanese for "Ten Blades"): are the top-ranked Arrancar, in Las Noches,

Exequias (Ekusekiasu; Spanish for "Funeral Rites", Japanese for "Funerary Attacking Force") ; They are responsible for dealing with rebels and intruders in Las Noches, usually terminating both hence their name. They appear to be the Arrancar equivalent of Soul Society's Onmitsukido.The Espada, much like with the Números, seem to have a level of control over the Exequias

Privion Espada: former Espada who have officially lost their rank and are assigned a three-digit number. Being former Espada, they are far stronger than the normal Números

Fracción (Furashion; Spanish for "Fraction", Japanese for "Subordinate Officers") : are a subsection of the Números that directly serve a specific Espada. The number of fracción for any given Espada varies. The fracción are all fiercely loyal to their respective Espada masters (due the the latter's impressive amount of power),

Numeros (numerosu; Spanish for "Numbers", Japanese for "Number Holders") : the combat specialists in the army of Arrancar. The Números are assigned a two digit number at birth from 11 to 99 to indicate their age (Número 11 is the oldest, Número 99 is the youngest). The fighting ability of the Números is thought to be superior to all other arrancar, except for the Espada (current and former). The strongest Números are chosen by the Espada to become their Fracción. {(Will not be listed due to the sheer number of them, though if I have the will I may list them)

These are the current ranks of the Arrancar. The 3 highest Espada have a authority over every other Arrancar, and also have a right to demote the other Espada to the Privion ranks.

Usually it's run in a way that if someone dies or loses rank everyone below them goes up one, allowing the lower ranks for non-elites to apply for, since they can't skip people when challenging .-.

If you were actually active I'd consider your opinion. The way I see it Sangre's been doing most, if not all, of the work. I've also only ever seen you and Aja in one or two topics, neither of which have been posted in quite some time.

Now, that. I dutifully apologize for my lengthy and recent inactivity. True, I've been on ... I shall ashamedly admit that I did have some time to make a simple IC post here or there, but life's been a pain. Doesn't it always?

Anyhow, my inactivity, I pray to goodness that I don't get swamped by some emergency soon(knock on wood), should be over with the end of this day.

I apology if that came off rudely, and I'm sorry to hear that your life has been hectic. As for your opinions on the goings-on of the Arrancar, I'm in the process of making a LTR-only section for discussion, until then PM it ^^

It's not really hectic as it is tiring. And no need to apolpogize, I didn't really take any offense at your earlier message, since it's nothing more than the truth.

Not true, Hiruma. If she wishes, her skills are still the same as when she was Third Espada, so she can take on the 4th Espada, or possibly fight for her old position. There's nothing saying she cant do that, as her skills remain the same.

Her skills may remain the same, but its an unspoken policy that entering the ranks of the Espada requires challenging the lowest-ranking Espada, or taking the lowest available rank and fighting your way up. It's like that to keep things fair for everyone. However, if you can get one other LTR to agree with you on changing the policy, it's out of my hands. Either way, she'll have to wait a week to challenge anyone for anything
