Dage vs. Cross

The sky holds a red tint at the lower horizon, as Cross walks into a large field. The field itslef is a half a mile long and 500ft wide. Cross slowly walks into the center of the field, the wind blowing lightly as his red hair sways to the left. Judgement flies out under his hat and starts to swirl about. " Finally some fresh air. Hey Cross, you really need to get out more... " The small golden golem says. " Ah, shad up you. I can do with out your lip. " Cross replies as he pulled out a pack of cigerettes from his coat pocket. He pulled one out and placed it into his mouth. He then put the pack away and pulls out a lighter. He brings the lighter to the cig and starts the flame. As the flame touches the end of the cig, Cross inhales; lighting it. He takes in one deep inhale as he put the lighter back into his pocket. " Hey you shouldn't do that, it will kill you. " Judgement remarks. " Please, I've been doing this for hundreds of years..... " Cross says as he lays upon the field.

The field was almost as perfect as one of the painting's almost akin to the grand fields samurai dreamed about. Its a shame that the monster called Dage was beckoned to this place for a fight that seemed more like chance then a invitation, it seemed that the one standing a distance from him has seemingly human but something was off. Dage walked hulkingly to the smoking man the nine foot frame of Dage and the blood stained clothing might send the wrong message that Dage was a mindless fighter, the Bount seemed to be rather calm and that was something Dage wanted to change lifting his massive arm Dage lowered in a over hand smash, as the arm lowered the force of the strike displaced the air around them both the grass began to flatten as it lowered atop of him moving was the best idea blocking or trying to take the impact would be a very messy Dage waited to see the counter.

Cross grinned as he saw the attack coming towards him. In that instant, Cross brings his legs up and kick flips upwards; narrowly avoiding the attack. As Cross moves up, he looks at his opponent, scaning for vital and weak areas he leaves open. Cross landed on his feet and turned to face his opponent. " Well, it seems I have an unexpected visitor. And just as I was having a smoke.... " Cross sighs as he puts out his cig, by stepping on it. " Well is is about time I had some fun today... " Judgement remarks as he flies around the opponent, scaning him as well; but keeping a safe distance from any attacks. " Well Mr. Shinigami, do I get a name for the one I am about to fight? " Cross asks.

As the ground ripped apart as if a hand grenade hit it, massive chunks of rock and dirt dressed neatly with grass flew freely and in the mist of it all Dage left the eye site of those looking cloaked in the chaotic aftermath he was behind his foe. Looming like death does when its about clam the next named on the list Dage lifted his arm again as he readied the next strike, Dage was not one to speak other then a few words hear and there but this was a fight and words were only going to waste time so Dage spoke swiftly but in a tone which left many twisted with fear. "call me Dage." as his words left his cold lips his massive arm began to be lowered for a second earth moving impact but with the laps in time avoiding this attack might land or just graze him but in the wake of this attack Dage readied a second one a looming right hook would chase after him should he avoid the first attack but with this Dage kept his balance and readied his self once more.

Cross spins around the left fist, moving in towards Dage. He purposly takes the second hit, sizeing Dage up, as he flies back a bit. Cross then gets up and brushes himself off from the dust and debris. Judgement rushes over. " Cross. " She says. " Why did you do that. You could of easily avoided it. " " Just to get a measure on our opponent. And I can tell he is still holding back. " He replies. " Now transform over. " Cross extends out an open palm and Judgement sits inside of it. Judgement starts to glow brightly and forms into a large golden revolver in Cross' hand. Cross grins and fires off six shoots towards the ground before Dage; the gun firing off only sounds like two.

Dage smiled as his foe fought with out fear, it was people like this who make fighting worth while looking to see how one would answer a half hearted strike. looking at the placement of were he landed it seemed to be a distance away and seemed to counter with a golden gun which let off the sound of two loud bangs but the rounds that rushed at the ground in front of him where twice that, puzzled at this Dage took a stance and drew the katana with such force that it not only displaced the air around him but the ground also. The massive shock waves meet the rounds about half the distance and in the mist of it all Dage rushed forward with is blade ready to cleave the Bount in have Dage lowered his hight in his landing just as the massive blade rushed forward aimed at the midsection in an effort to keep that gun useless.

Cross smiles as the bullets fired into the ground left a glowing mark of the cross. Cross then takes a deep breath as he backflips away from the on coming shinigami. While in the midst of backfliping Cross sent down a trail of bullets following him. Cross lands on his feet and turns behind him to look at the shinigami. Cross then lets out a small smirk as he sends out two special bullets towards Dage. One coming in from the right, the other bullet the left.

Dage was not in the bit worried about the much quicker Bount, speed does nothing but stall in an attempt to prolong death Dage was not bothered by the gun nor the rounds that seemly ignores the laws of this world. The second round of bullets seemed to be even more closely aimed Dage nearly had time to respond but in the moments following Dage was behind the Bount once more but instead of having time to plan a complex attack Dage made it with little or no time to start a full force attack. So being the impulse fighter Dage lifted the 4 yard blade toward the lower right hip up words through the left upper shoulder while in the arc of the attack Dage switched his grip into a downward reverse blade strike aimed at the right should down to the hip, Dage knew that the next volley of bullets could very well impact which did not seem that bad but keeping his cool was needed to keep the massive right hook he kept as a just in case. this fight seemed to play out as some art show each artist came with their own styles each contrasting each other but who would come out the better.

Cross moves intowards Dage, swiftly moving about. As he moved in, Cross would only get a few knicks from the blade. Cross made it past his blade and close enough to avoid the oncoming right hook. The bullets Cross shot into the ground now left a glowing mark of the cross and the two Cross shot towards Dage now change direction; amining for Dage's skull. Cross let out a small sigh as he placed his gun a few centimeters from the abdominal region of Dage. " Any last words? " Cross says as he fire five bullets. The first bullet in the center. The second, 3cm north. The third, 2cm west from the center. The fourth, 2cm east from the center. And finally the fifth bullet, 5cm south of the center bullet.

Dage smiled as Cross showed his skill but it was the idea of guns that seemed to give him the edge, as Cross made his move so did Dage it was this aspect of near death that seemingly gave Dage this thrill was one of a kind Cross should know better that. Guns are very quick but they have its flaws as well as Cross, as everything rushed about his mind he used to over take the rather bad death that seemingly awaited him. As cross aimed for the midsection flared his power to gain an impromptu speed burst leaving behind a rather well made after image but this was not perfect nor was it skill full it was how ever just the thing needed, he only moved about a whole three feet to the outside of the gun just as Cross spoke and fired the gun there were holes in the clothing of Dage but nothing seemed to impact the body and what Cross said would lead to his death.
Dage did not have to say a word to speak he would use his blade to speak for him, each captain had the ability to call their Shikai with out speaking and Dage did just that the distance Cross was from Dage was not much and as the black flames rushed forward, the flames that raced forward were about 3,000 degrees and being as close as Cross he would be engulfed but that his if he could could out run the ten foot burst more so the rounds that rushed at his skull melted before impact. Dage smiled as he was close to deaths door and if Cross gets that close once more Dage would have to melt the gun it self but who knows how the fight with pan out but it is known that the flames are freed.

Cross quickly dashed off 7ft to the left, avoiding the flames to the best of his ability. Cross could feel the heat from where he stood and understood that making contact with these flames could be fatal. He let out a soft sigh as he then looked over towards Dage. Cross noticed the holes in Dage's clothing and let out a wide grin. " You know Dage, I don't exactly have to hit you with the bullet to cause damage..... " Cross said as he let out a large grin. The holes then made a bright cross mark on Dage's clothes, there the bullet made a mark. Cross activates the crosses on Dage's clothes and all three create an explosion upon the clothes on him. All while the two bullets still flying at Dage's skull.

Cross stood there and watched as the Shinigami known as Dage hasn't moved. The two bullets struck into the skull of Dage, dealing a nearly fatal blow. The bullets left two cross marks on the skull of Dage, one layering over the other. The three cross marks exploded over the abdominal region of Dage, all three dealing a powerful blow; that could easily penetrate the skin. Cross then smirked again as he fired off three more bullets to the shinigami. One between the eyes, one to the solar plexis, and the final at the upper pelvice reigon.

Compressing his reiatsu at the moment those crosses tore through in a fiery blast, Dage stood there in the mist of the fabric and fire Dage stood with only light burns and two or three cuts nothing that could hinder his ability to fight, but as mindless as Dage seemed to be there was a plan hidden so ever neatly in the assuming chaotic hue in his attacks the one fact about fire is that when it heats air the air rises and everything that flies or traverses through the air is effected by this. As the bullets rushed at his skull the air was heated rapidly throwing off the aim and trajectory of the shell just as Dage rushed forward as they missed, crushing his way toward Cross Dage lifted his axe and seemingly with a powerful swing failed to come close to hitting Cross but in truth Dage used Nenshou Kaze a air burst superheated and could completely burn Cross but not to bank on one move Dage lifted the axe acting again as if to come short of hitting Cross sent a second Nenshou at him this was aimed in such a way that if Cross should avoid the first one the second should be harder to avoid with out some burns
